paint job
want to get my cart painted red, was wondering what is the normal price is for that, i have the body off the buggy . i called a paint shop thy said 450.00 that sounds high to me

try and find someone that paints on the side. i paid $250 for the body and $75 for the roll cage. my guy did a great job also.

Sounds about right..if he does good work. Sometimes you get what you pay for. My paint was $640, But it is not a solid color. Multi color custom paint jobs run a little more. Will post a pic soon.

he does a pretty good job, it looks like a factory car paint job. but, there is no trash or hazy areas. i did tell him that i didnt want it to fancy since i play in the mud and woods alot.

There are lots and lots of variables to consider. What kind of prep work needs to be done? What kind of materials will be used? Clear coat or single stage? etc... For example: The pearl base/clear on my cart was nearly $700 just for the materials...so it all depends on what you are looking for and how the shop is going to accomplish the job. Red is the most expensive pigment so it wil be the most expensive color to paint anything.
