Default hammered paint

I've searched a lot of threads and have been trying to decide whether to Herculine, shoot with compressor gun or spray with rattle can. Herculine is interesting but I don't like the color selection and probably wouldn't like the end product. Shooting with my compressor is the quality choice but it is much more expensive and I'm afraid that I wouldn't want to take my buggy into the woods, which is its primary use. To me it would be much more practical to use rattle cans. I'll try to properly prepare the surfaces, use an adhesion promoter and primer before painting. The roof support, flip-flop hardware, etc. will be painted using VHT black satin roll cage paint. The body color will be copper and I'm leaning towards the Krylon Fusion Hammered Copper. I have not seen any threads concerning the "hammered" paint. Has anyone used this "variety" with any success or failure? Any pros or cons on using the hammered paint?
