Default can you use truck bed liner instead of paint?

My cart is a woods/work cart that I want to put that bedliner coating on it in stead of paint? Ok after thinking Im crazy I think it would hold up great with all the crap my paint job goes through. I live in florida where Im running on 4 wheeler trails that get grown in real fast. What do you think?

I have sprayed the over the counter bedliners using a schutz gun and bedliner kits that use the schutz gun. Very simple and easy to use. I masked and sprayed it just as you would with any other automotive way of painting. What I would suggest is to prime any bare metal or plastic and sand the cart as you would for an automotive paint job.. Sanding prep is very very key to any paint sticking and holding up well.
I will tell you that the over the counter bedliners are not as thick and as durable as professional type from my experience. I have only done it a few times but they have not worn as well as the professional type..
I have never done this on a golf cart but painting process is the same so there should be no reason I can tell you couldn't use this in place of paint.

Just bought the kit. Comes with 1gal. 2 rollers, brushs, ect. Had alittle left over. Used a wire wheel and cup to rough up the plastic so it would stick better. No pics yet, soon, if I EVER get my wheels. Supposed to have been shipped today, know tomorrow.
