Default Brush on paint for aluminum trim

I want to paint the cowl trim and the aluminum trim underneath the dash, but I can't take it all apart to use a spray paint.

Is there a paint that I can apply with a brush?

Here is a picture of the trim I want to paint:

I am really, really good with art brushes and will paint the cowl trim with a wood grain design to match the dash. The rest of the trim I am thinking a semi-gloss black to match the floor mat (which shines when I armor all it )

Any suggestions, recommendations are greatly appreciated!

They make etching primers even in spray paint form for aluminum. Check Your local bodyshop supply store.

Liky any other paint, surface preperation is key. Follow the directions on the can.

Self etching primer is what I used when I painted my Aluminum trim. Around the dash I cleaned it well, primed with self etching and even sanded alittle then shot with Krylon rattle can and then clear coat....turned out pretty good. But the struts that you already have black, mine were aluminum, I sprayed with plastidip. They are holding up great and if they get scuffed, reshoot. Hope that helped or maybe just confused ya!
