Default Green Scotch Brite

I picked up 20 6x9 green Scotch Brite pads 3M brand for $7.34.

I was reading some more threads on painting and saw that red Scotch Brite was recommended.

Is it a mistake to use the green? Is it to course. The cart will be used on the farm and at auctions so I don't need a show cart. Just as soon it didn't look like a five year old did it either. Some five year olds may have painted more than I have though.

The green pads are typically used in the restaurant feild for cleaning pans and such but it would probably work for what you are trying to do.
