Fender flairs aren't enough
I installed a Jakes long travel lift kit to my 2004 Yamaha G22. Now the front tires extend almost 9 inches outside the stock fenders, which in turn throws water, mud, etc, all over the side of the cart and occupants also. I'm looking at fabricating some off road add on fenders. fender flares aren't going to begin to be enough to cover the spray. any suggestions as to where i might source pre fab fenders that could be bolted on, or materials that will work well to give the cart and occupants some protection?

You may want to check with the site sponsors here for sizes on flares. If nothing there, maybe someone will help on here...

I haven't taken many pictures of it yet. Wanted to get it done first. Also unfortunately as a new member I can't post links until I have been a member for 7 days.

Re: Fender flairs aren't enough
I've been checking with every available source I can think of and the widest flares are 4 inches wide. I'm now looking at possibly buying fenders for a Honda ATV and bolting them on; however the fenders are somewhat pricey. I'm currently searching for a nearby motorcycle and ATV salvage yard where I could get used ATV fenders cheaper. I considered molding them out of fiberglass but I would still have to bolt them on as fiberglass will not adhere to the plastic used in cart bodies, and would be both heavy and prone to fracturing more so than ATV plastic fenders would. I will post pictures as soon as the site will allow.

Re: Fender flairs aren't enough
Those must be total offset wheels. I've never seen the complete tire out like that on a Jakes Long Travel
