Default Plasti Dip Question

I've plasti dipped my cart gunmetal, but the color is a little light for me. Should I be okay to just paint over with red instead of peeling everything off?

Here's a picture of the grey.

Yes... often times its actually better, it will make peeling later in life easier with more coats.

Are you using rattle cans? If not... get yourself some charcoal candy pearl to mix in with a matte/Glossifier mix, and go right over the gunmetal.

To be honest the Grey would look sweet if your seats and canopy were black.

Correct, in case this is in response to my reply. I was assuming he wanted to use a red dip over his existing grey dip... def dont use regular paint over it!

Keep us posted on what you end up doing.

No, you were correct. I'm going to paint red dip over the grey. I'm actually thinking of painting the seats too, which people on here don't seem to high on.

Heck no! Don't paint the seats. As a former owner of a upholstery shop I can tell you it may look good for a bit but you will be sorry soon.

The seats the color that they are will look good with red.

Ok, i'm taking your advice. You've gotta be the fourth person I've seen say something like this. I'm looking at Up To Par Covers and they're very reasonable.
