86 gas gx620 implant replace salsibury clutch?
86 gas club car
I am replacing my kf82d with a gx620 can i still use the salisbury drive clutch or do i have to get a comet 94c i am not going crazy mods to engine i do have a jakes 6" lift with 25x10.5-12 tires would rather spend more wisely. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanx dave |

Will it physically work, yes. Would you be better off with a newer style or aftermarket clutch? Yes. Your current clutch doesn't have a roller for the belt to slip on when its idling. So you either have to run the belt very loose or make it start and stop with the gas pedal like a standard cart. Plus a new clutch can be tuned and adjusted to get the most out of the power from the new engine....
