Default clone flywheel

Shown here are a honda gx390 and rayseng billet flywheels.Of special note is the manner the magnets are retained.

Sweet! I'm re-tapering a 460 crank for the 200-type PVL flywheel, 'cuz I'm cheap :)

I am guessing from your facebook page GDFP you have machining avenues that most of us only dream of.I did get the rayseng flywheel directly from them on a black friday sale for $146 delivered The machine work on it and the arc connecting rod almost belong in a jewlers case rather than in an engine.I am building a 6k clone next.I did not like the looks of even the factory honda flywheel in the picture.Did not notice my poor photography in those pictures. The flywheel sits on the GFs side of the cart.I don't think I would score many points if parts of the flywheel hit her in the butt.

That's a steal, and worth all that and more!

I only have a modest home-shop, but I have fun :)

They say the honda flywheel is good but the clone version will blow the magnet off at 6K+, or at least they used to. Mine has a screw in it like that too seems like it would take a lot to make it come off. Then it hits the coil and makes a mess. According to what I read its the coil that comes out not the flywheel, though they have broken on the gx200 clones. But the kart racers scream them without mercy lol.

I wonder how much difference they make on a cvt golf cart, you don't get as much rpm change with a cvt. I'm sure it feels more zippy, think Hookm ran one. I'm considering rod and cam because of the power increase but really don't want vanny money wrapped up in this thing; rather spend it on another cart or utv. This one works so well as is but I just can't stop messing with it here and there.

Some do have issue with the starter with a light flywheel, some you have to buy a high torque starter for them.
