This thread is almost a year old. Why would a clown motor require an ARC rod?
That's like putting a deadbolt on a doghouse. It's just not needed.

FYI The vegascarts engines all come standard with the arc rod due to high failure rates of the stock rod with the higher rpms these engines produce.

I've blown mine Don. The Arc rod is much stronger, plus has replaceable bearings. The clones have a nasty habit of putting windows in the engine block. Luckily mine didn't.

All of them, or just the 460?

Vegascarts only makes a 460 now and all of them have the torque cam along with the chrome moly push rods. So they can easily get to the rpms where rod failures can occur.

Why don't they offer the 390 or the 420/440 anymore?
