Default Wiring necessary

I am converting my old 88 (I think) model ez go into a sawmill. I am trying to find out exactly what wiring and parts it has to have to run. I always heard if it was getting fire and had gas the son of a gun was supposed to run!!! Does it need all these solenoids and things? Thanks for help or advice.

Ok, the 2 stroke rotates backwards to achieve reverse. So you'll need the solenoids for all that. Also, the cdi unit and voltage regulator need to stay. I'd say all the wiring in the engine compartment needs to stay to make it run correctly. There is also a wire that goes to the gas pedal that shuts the engine down when you let off the pedal.

im kind of ashamed to tell, to start with its not an ez go its a g1 yamaha...yeah you would think I would at least know that. It was an old one sitting under a shed and I just assumed it was a ezgo. It is actually my sons project. If you will look at georgia088 posts you will get more info and I think a picture of project. Sorry for my mis- information.
