Default Side cover bolt problems

Has anyone out there had any problems keeping the side cover bolts tight. My bolts have came loose twice now. The last time I put external tooth lock washers on them and red lock tite. This weekend they came loose again.

Blue loctite is a must! Had this happen to me also. After I used the loctite I had no more problems!

Red locktite should've held. We're the bolts CLEAN? If not that's why they came loose the second time.

Oops, didn't read that you put red loctite on already. That definitely should have held. Maybe buy new bolts and try it again.

I'm like you guys the red loctite should have held. I couldn't beleve it didn't! I cleaned the bolts with carb cleaner. I ran a tap in the holes and then sprayed the holes with carb cleaner and blew out with air. I went to fastenall today and bought new bolts 5mm longer and the spring type lock washers. I'm about to pull what little hair I have left out!!!

No the longer bolts didn't bottom out. When I added the split ring lock washers it only left the bolts about 3mm longer. I'm going to finish it up this afternoon and give a test run.
