Brother in law wants to keep it. He paid a grand for it as it is and wants that out of it. I suggested that has about as good a chance as me growing boobs and flying but it fell on deaf ears. So I guess if anybody wants it 1000 bucks and its yours. My guess it will be collecting dust for some time!

I could have got a carryall2 a couple years back for 1200. After I figured out costs for lift/tires/wheels/clone&parts it was too high to make sense. It ran ok but I could not get a nice idle, I think the valves or low compression. I think CC feel like a couch, on a trail I think it will fly off them, so I don't care for the extra room ....so I prefer to leave them for others who like them lol.

It's to my understanding that the CC KF82/FZ340 flat head engines have a max compression of 100 psi, so it's not completely out of the realm!
$1000 may be a bit on the high side, $500 to $800 would be an easy sale, but... to the right person? it could be done!

I saw an old G1 with torn seats and all dirty go for 800+ at an estate auction this summer. Retired woman bought it because their cart broke and hubby can't walk well. Still took two people to bid it that high. I knew the guy and knew the G1 was good mechanically, but its still an OLD ugly stinky noisy 2 stroke cart that is not worth that much. I figured about 600 max maybe 650, but other people didn't know it was not clapped out and nobody cleaned it up to look better. Wait till spring and you might get $1k easy if it runs and you shine it up some. Here every retiree has to have one.
