Anti vibration rubber mounts
Any thoughts on mounting engine with rubber isolator's to cut down on vibration ? Also where is a good place to start looking for a longer belt ? Maybe a forum sponsor ?
Will post update pics later. |

Re: Anti vibration rubber mounts
Yamaha G2-14 uses rubber mounts on the engine to frame connection. The vegascarts adapter plate also uses theses units. But at $100 for a set they are not cheap and would certainly require adaptation on another cart, but may give you an idea how to go about it.

Re: Anti vibration rubber mounts
I thought about using the hard rubber bushings that are in shock absorber mounts. ?They seem to be about the right size, maybe put a thin flat washer on top & bottom. I will try and post some pics of them later.

Own a drill and a drywall knife? This stuff really works. You can put it under the motor or the mount. Works great. |
