Default Re: Vegas Carts stroker crank& house cam

According to my junky tach I only saw 5400 one time, usually it stopped at 5200 but went faster after that. I taped the wire tight but it still got strange at high rpm. That was on a flat road. But I've not run it like that very many times. The kart guys say the 390 version will get 500rpm more and they don't seem to have issue with rods long as its stock cam. However I think they kind of expect less reliability due to their use lol. I thought about getting a rod but I can't get my intake put on it been working OT too much lately and other interruptions. I'd like a rod just for reliability, for how cheap a clone is while the rod seems pricey its really not a bad deal when you look at the whole package (and put that vegas cam in there). I'm just full of ideas. Of course you get all that stuff and more with the 460.
