Vegas Carts stroker crank& house cam
I'm leaning towards VC stroker crank in my 420 Lifan for 440cc, with the zero deck height longer ARC rod,.. And their basic $60 house cam..
Im goung to run VC 35# springs, VC stock length pushrods,.. And stock rocker arms. Anyone have any input/ warnings etc? |

Leaving the balance shaft in place,.. And removing the governor.
I already have the NR Racing Honda UT-2 non rev limited coil. |

Sounds like a great setup, though you may have to run premium fuel. I don't know if you want to run a timing key, would have to do some research.

I dont know that the longer ARC rod bumps up the compression quite that much but im not opposed to running premium

Re: Vegas Carts stroker crank& house cam
Get the new balance shaft from Vegas then you do not have to grind yours for the arc rod to clear it
Also I did this on my duromax and had to hone out the wrist pin hole on the piston but I think that is just on the duromax engines I think I had to take .049 off the top of my piston. I did not do the striker crank though just a longer rod. While your machining stuff might as well take .050 off the head to bump up the compression a little. Also I would go with their better pushrods. Good luck with your build. |

The one thing that is kinda handy/ unique is I can (well should be able to) use my Lifan flywheel (UT2) with charging circuit yatta yatta,.. and utilize my UT2 no rev limit coil.. Now to crap out $600, have to sell one of my pistols or something but I want this dundie'.. Why couldn't I be patient enough to wait until I had more funds the first go round/ ah well... its 'did, so sense dwelling on it. |

Re: Vegas Carts stroker crank& house cam
Not a bad deal.
I cut .050 off the head of my 420, it came with a very thin metal head gasket. I run a 4 degree advance key with the old flywheel/ignition. This is the max you can go with regular fuel. This would knock sometimes with the stock clutch if I slowed then gassed it and it caught a high gear and lugged it for a moment before the clutch would backshift. The 94c with a spring in it does not shift down that low so now its fine. The 460 is a nobrainer, you get a lot in that deal. I would have put one in but they didn't have that deal then. |

Bump on Brian's post on the lifan. More revs + stock rod ='s broken rod.I also see from his later post the lifan has the UT2 flywheel as stock.
