WHAT cart?
thinking of building a big block cart
heard some make dont work very well because of engine rotation. can anyone steer me in the right direction of what make or models work best? or which ones to stay away from? looking to use a clone 420 or maybe v-670?? I do want it fully functional, reverse etc... do all two strokes run the engine backwards? |

Re: WHAT cart?
The only ones I would stay away from are 2 strokes which need a different rear axle to have forward and reverse and electric carts which also need a different rear axle as well as a fuel tank.

Re: WHAT cart?
Late model carts with Kawasaki engine run clockwise for CC 1992 or earlier. (they never made a 2 stroke)
For Ezgo any 4 stroke (driver side clutch) until the Kawasaki motor (passenger side clutch) I used a 200 Ezgo Workhorse - the extrax 10" in the engine bay made it easy to work and even a 25hp motor fit easily. Hope this helps |

Re: WHAT cart?
Any of the Yamaha G2-16 have bolt in kits from vegas carts, or many here have cloned them on their own.

Re: WHAT cart?
Scotty it's 96 and older on the club cars that a clone can work with without issue due to the counterclockwise
97 and up don't work Mine is a 94 and love it with the vc460(36mph max speed) |
