Default VRX 460 kit on 93 carrier, 84 Marathon.

Just a few clearance issues on this and I'll be on my way. Anyone else put the four stroke axle in an older 2-stroke Kart? I am going to extend the mounting tabs where it pivots at the front.

Why not just get a shorter belt for the starter/generator? That's a lot of work for such a small problem.

Not enough space for that.... Unless maybe I bring the whole thing way up.

Starter, that is. I'll look at it again but if I'm going to Fab, I may as well lengthen the engine carrier a few inches. I also ordered two and a half by 16 coils to replace the for 14s. I only had an inch or so clearance between the air filter and the frame crossbar at the back of the seat. Only a little bit more clearance to the cylinder head.

Most people try to center the tire in the wheel well, and if they plan to go larger tire they move pivot back some (and drop it lower to help level things with the larger lift they need). That would be my recommendation and if you have a clearance issue try to deal with it in some other way. If you do move it back check tire position closely before you weld it up. If its all good then no problem. Also make sure your brake cables reach.

I've welded 2 inch back tabs on the front of my previous marathon for that very reason. The generator does not have enough room.
Make sure you check your brake lines after so they have a little slack
May have to take them out of the holders on the swing arm and re route them a little

I'd post a pick but I sold that cart last year.

After 3" longer tabs on the swingarm. Looks centered enough to me. Gained clearance all around. I will move the lower spring perches forward next.
