Preferred belt for a cart that will be set to idle
I am in the middle of a clone swap on a Hyundai cart and was curious if there is a certain type of belt that should be used if I am going to run a key start and idle? Any preferred vendor for an approximately 1" wide x 47" long belt? They don't seem to be very easy to find.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks |

There are only 2 1" belts I know of one for a club car and one other one sometimes used for swaps. CPP has them. That is why lot of people get away from the 1" belt its not nice to work with.

Re: Preferred belt for a cart that will be set to idle
Thank you sho. I have the 780 drive clutch that I could open up for the 1 3/16" belt but then would still be dealing with the stock driven clutch that was for the 1" belt. I guess that will have to be my next replacement part. Maybe I should have just left the good running Suzuki in it and called it a day. Not nearly as much fun though.

You can buy a secondary for it, and some machine the stock one I think CPP does it maybe. I forget what they charge. Its pretty common thing in the swaps with CC carts. But you only need to do it once.
