Predator swap belt help

I have a CC carry all 2 that I installed a predator clone in. I need a 40 1/2, 1 inch wide belt. I have found a one inch belt that is 41.6 inches long with a 26 degree bevel. I can move the motor mount forward to take up the slack. Will this belt work for the standard CC drive and driven clutches?

There are only two belts I know of, one is CC stock and other is for swaps. The 1" is really limited. Some get a new clutch and have the secondary machined so they can run a 1 3/16 like most other carts and many sleds, and there are lots of sizes. If you find a 1" belt it should work fine, if its a drive belt. If the angle is off it will wear in long as its not way different.

I almost did a CC ca2. I was going to put 28s on it and a clone. By the time I added it all up replacing the clutches made it more expensive and I let it go. Guess the 1" will work ok but you do run into the problem you have. Just mod the mount to move it and make one work, iirc there is a lot of engine room in that cart.

I'm doing same swap with Honda gx390 using vagas mount. Did you find belt that works? If so who did you get it from.

I was digging for something else one day and found 1 1/32 wide belts, they might work but I don't know. Get a slightly longer one it might be fine, I don't know what sizes they come in that one was less than 40.
