Default carb isolater block

just ordered one from vc for my preditor 420 are the bolts going to be long enough? i also read that i will need to run a return line, how does this work? also can i use my stock yamaha g2 pump

That block is close to 1/2 inch thick
Not sure if the stock engine has one on it just not the port for the fuel pump. On mine I have no problems with using the port on that isolator operating my fuel pump. No return line needed. I'm using a mikuni, made in Japan, pulse fuel pump like what is on most carts and lawn mowers.

Does the stock 420 have an isolator on it?

I did a search and couldn't find a pic of the engine to see.

I went to eBay and typed in predator 420 carb isolator and sure enough it has the same isolator as the one that VC sells but without the fuel pump pulse connector. So from that I'd say yes would be the answer to your original question.

Probably too late to be helpful for op, but I just did the same thing. My 420 already had a block in place that the block from VC replaces. No need for longer bolts.
