24mm bored 3-circuit carb for the gx390 & 420/440/460 clones
Hey guys,
We got our hands on some 24mm carburetors. They look like a traditional 21mm carburetor but better. Choke lever that doesn't fall off and 3rd circuit so you can play with jets in the mid range of RPM's http://www.vegascarts.com/24mm-Bored...4boredcarb.htm Thoughts? -Aaron |

I just ordered one too. I was going to bore out one of my spare carbs to 1" but this is close enough for a start.

Sort of the same idea I was thinking. I was going to buy another carb to work with but this gives me a head start and I can A-B test easily against my present set up.

Dug up the extra adjustable main jet kit I bought on Ebay for $10 a while back. Going to try it out on the new carb when it shows up here. Stay tuned.

I'm going to rob the parts from the carb I'm running now. By the looks of the choke side the velocity stack air filter adapter will need to be opened up some. Yes the time for experimenting has begun.

I just renewed the plate today for another year. I'll be doing some road testing this weekend God willing. I'll do another video of it running down the road.
