One that I enjoy immensely

Just to think my Wife had been on me to get a golf cart for years before I finally did. I didn't think I'd like one as we only have a 1.1 acre yard so I figured it would be too big to use it for anything around here, boy was I wrong.
I don't use it for any yard stuff other than my Grand Daughter driving it around but I use it to run to the store, to the restaurant and to the woods for mushroom foraging. Love it
So far the Cops haven't given me any static about letting my Grandy drive on the streets either. I think they see the benefit in her learning to drive at an early age like she has/is.
She keeps her eye on the rear view mirror and uses arm signals when she turns. all good things to know and do.

Its a wonderful day, lets all enjoy it.

Today is the Rose bowl college football game.
Black eyed peas, baked cabbage and Big Green Egg Smoker/grill baby back ribs Hickory smoked on the menu for today

Life is Good

Peace

Too much snow to cart here, but still looking forward to more cart time this new year!

I barely have time to get on this site, that is why I'm not on another also.

No other site for me
I've grown to like the folks here. Good, honest and home grown. Who has taught me more than I could have ever hoped to have learned on my own and for that I'm grateful

I wasn't aware of a *********** or whatever being another forum I was referring to those of us hooked on carts like an alcoholic is his booze. Or a pot head is his MaryJ. At one time in my life I was guilty of both but no longer imbibe or toke. An occasional beer does me just fine. I came home from the 'Nam a mess. Took a long time to come to grips with that too. But thats a subject for another day, another time. Not today, not now.

Peace

To all the Cobbological Engineers -- may your new year be full of new ideas -- may your dreams be pleasant and delightful -- work hard and bring toughs ideas to reality --- to toughs who can take a pile of nothing and build something --- Happy New Year

Thumbs up Re: Happy New Year

Was that the site some started or went to, I was asked to get over there years back but time does not permit. Hey I was on bu before this place, but they got so rigidly intolerant of anything they didn't sell (which likely helped cause the formation of BGW because people left the forum). Eventually they sold out anyway and heard the original business is long gone. BU and their forum was a huge deal in the early days of carting but a poor attitude and ultra strict rules didn't do them much good in the end. Suppose they got a payoff when they sold out but also got a lot of bad karma in the process.

Nice people here, hope I can help some of them out with the joy of carting lol. Sometimes its hard to find things in life that are just plain harmless fun (harmless if you stay within reason), have to hang onto them when you do!

Yes David Maner, I would say for me a cart ride is certainly a positive thing, much like my big car stereo sometimes you need something good to help you along. I dread moving on from my old car just because of the sound system, pretty sad huh? But its a lot of work to get it right and I'll have to start over it sucks. But some days a little high power music sure makes the difference just like a cart ride can.

Many thanks to the people that make BGW!!!

Best wishes to all of you for another fun carting year!

And there is a little happy for BGW as well lol.
