ignition kill and tachometer
So I got a question maybe somebody can help me out I am currently using the ignition kill switch to shut down my Vegas carts 460 my question is would it be okay to connect the tachometer to the pickup wire as well I don't know if this will do any damage

Some people do but the tach may not work well on it, seems a few do and many do not like that signal. Just don't run any power to that wire it will blow up the coil, for an old style single wire coil.

Vegas Carts has a tachometer that's made to be hooked to the kill wire on the coil.

Its no problem hooking it up that way just warning that some tachs do not give a good reading, if you find one that does that is great. I saw they had a new tach a while back, I'll check it out. I need one or an inductive.
