Default Carb Jetting / Options

Hey All -

Got the cart moving and its good fun! Not terribly fast, but tons of power!

I removed the factory exhaust and was running about a 2inch long open pipe lol. I've since had a welder mate a threaded elbow to the factory exhaust stand off but noticed the engine was starving for more fuel. I eventually want to add a motorcycle muffler to the mix.

I removed the air filter as well and plan on running a high flow filter set up.

My question is what size jet upgrade would y'all recommend for prevent running lean? Also is it worth getting a VC carb (2 choices) or even adapting another carb?

BTW - My issue was with the exhaust being in the way so the vertical factory exhaust manifold was perfect but the muffler on top was too close to the seat.

Note the funny sound pressure doo dad on that thing!

Hopefully this new set up works!
