I see on Paul's karts latest youtube video a pair of clone carbs for him to do whatever on. Both have the ECcarbs adjustable main jet. They are for some racing cart but they are using these carbs with some very large velocity stacks. You can spot the tell tale end of the EC unit with its adjustment T. First time I seen a racer with the same set up some of us use.

Had mine out last week. First time I really jumped on it this year. Killer throttle response and boy does it like to rev. Great fun.

Anybody that wants to see a 460 in action go to vegascarts facebook page and watch "Just some testing around the block". You can see how easily the engine revs and responds. You can also see glimpses on the equus tach of RPMS in the 6300-6500 range.

I thought this one up today. Even if you are total mechanical klutz, you probably have a buddy that will say " Let's put thing thing together and hear it run ".

2 Things I did to my long rod 460 presently in my cart. 1 Throat matching the 24 mm EXP-S carb to my VC billet intake manifold I use for an air cleaner mount and 2 Changing the fitting to 1/8 NPT in my Aussie Speed valve cover to my 1/4 check valve has given me an unexpected power boost across most of the engines rev range. Some thing if you are putting one together bear in mind. Based on this find my 460 Omega project will have a check valve on both the crankcase and valve cover. Wish I would have known about the very noticeable power increase with better crankcase venting on my last tear down.

My crankshaft takes up most of your budget. Just my bottom end along is over a 1000 dollars and it's a lawn mower engine
