Default 420cc predator EZGO help

Hey guys super new to forum and golf carts with swaps. I picked up an ezgo txt with big lift and 27” tires. It has a 420cc/13hp predator that **** the bed. I put a brand new motor on with governor still attached. It has a torque converter to chain drive and does a whopping 12mph. Only aftermarket part is a billet adapter and air filter. Have a couple questions:
1. What can I do to get more speed? Remove the governor? Is that reliable?
2. What speed should I see with this cart?
3. Where do I hook vacuum lines to since airbox is removed? Thanks guys bare with me.

Install 35 lb valve springs and remove governor then you can rev over 3600 but keep it under 500 rpm free flowing exhaust k&n type air cleaner from then on it’s how much do you want to spend also rejet the carburetor

Where does the chain drive go? To the original transmission or to a straight axle?

The 420 Hemi will accept lots of parts from the Honda 390 - 460 series engines. The difference is piston and head. The rest of it is regular 420 Predator.

None of the things mentioned will gain you as much speed as simply changing the size of your sprockets.

How many teeth are on the the front and the rear sprockets now?

Why not try to find the proper secondary clutch for your rear and go with a comet 780 drive clutch.

Like Mike said - install 35lb valve springs to protect the valves from floating. Open the side cover and remove the governor gear and weights so they fly apart at high rpm.

Get a good tachometer and keep it below 4500 rpm and you should be able to get 30 mph on the flat roads
