Default Carb Spacer

Hi I have puchased a Duromax engine, engine cradle, clutch adapter for my 1992 EZGO. I read on here that the easiest way to run the fuel pump is to buy a carb spacer with the spot to for a hose. Does anyone know where to purchase one? I am sure I can figure out the exhaust and minor other items. How hard is it to change over the accelerator cables and to wire this up? I am planning on using the stock generator so do I need any solonoids? Am I missing anything else?

Affordablegokarts.com is where I bought mine, some get them on epay. Some epoxy a tube in to make their own.

I did a yamaha, more or less just don't use the engine ignition wires but hook everything else back up including all the generator wiring. I'm going to use a relay to ground the engine ignition when the cart ignition turns off, so all I need is the wire that goes hot from the pedal (that goes to the ignitor on a yamaha). Because the clone powers its own ignition. I did get an elec start, so made short cables to connect starter power to the generator battery cables. The starter is only power needed for the clone. But I start the cart with the generator just like stock.

The throttle I made, using part of the original arm and part my own. I did use the rod on the carb that comes with it. I drilled a hole in the choke arm and made another rod for it. Put levers over flywheel to hook rods and cables to.

iirc there is another photo of linkage on next page.

Hey 92,
I also did this swap.If you havent received the motor yet, you'll be suprised how much govenor, and hand throttle crap that comes on top of these things.
Plenty of little arms and springs and material to make your own setup. Also when setting up the choke, double check the label, it was backwards. It read ON not Open or closed.so look in the throat while moving choke lever and see for your self.Next I relocated the air cleaner to the dash area(clean) I just poked a hole in that hose and connected to fuel pump.no cost.is good.
And last but not least is .REMOVE THE INTERNAL GOVERNOR. This is the anchor that holds em back.Full instructions at WWW.affordablegokarts.com
Get that new belt tight as it will stretch .
Good luck
Brock
