Default Clone allignment

I'm build a g2. I've got another thread started on the build but want to ask a generic question that I think should be the same for any cart.

How to I make sure my clone is aligned correctly with the rear end? I had it where I thought was right. Then I looked at my stock cart. When I hit the gas, it looked like the belt might have moved towards the engine a small amount when the rear cluth opened up. Thanks for any insight. There I a wealth in knowledge on the forum. I hope I can add to it with my limited knowledge.
