Just finished duromax clone swap in 95 cc carryall 2. first off, you can save a lot of time, aggrivation, and money fitting your engine to use original drive belt. I found if you make an engine mount approx 4 inches high it will clear the transaxle and original belt will work out fine as long as you have a 6 inch lift. I will have to say this forum and all you guys out there helped me get through this fun adventure. Im new at this but bare with me and I can give some help to others too.

Here's a pic. ![]() If you look carefully, I just used gas tank mount to remount my starter/generator. this made it quite easy and I didnt have to fab up some adapter plate. Last edited by zwayitis; 02-12-2012 at 06:33 PM.. Reason: adding info about starter generator mount

Good job man looks great. Im up to my knees in my swap waiting on parts. Looks like you drilled the valve cover. Did you have problems clearing the baffle? Got any pics?

I only drilled through top layer of valve cover to existing vent to screw my barb fitting into, once it was snug I drilled smaller hole from inside the valve cover, about an eighth inch or so. It was really easy, took about five minutes total, that was removing valve cover, drilling, install barb fitting and reinstall valve cover. I wished I would have taken pics, maybe I will take it back off and take some.

Forgot to show my motor mount. I just cut 2 inch steel pipe, tack welded to top of original plate, made another aluminum plate to sandwich on top. (easier to cut out). used 6 inch grade 8 bolts and 1 inch rubber feet I took off an old pancake compressor. Mounted all this to engine on work bench and then lowered all down into compartment and drilled out proper holes for frame mount. ![]()
