Engine Swap
Want to put a honda or Vangaurd in my yamaha G9. Any suggestions?
Haven't found anybody that makes for honda conversions. |

There are many threads including both of mine about putting honda clones in G2/9 carts. The main issue is the clearance in front of the carb to the right rear shock, otherwise its not bad. Someone did make a mount for vanguards I saw one, but not sure on the clones. I made my own one piece of square tube and two bars of 2x3/8 and a little piece of angle...and a welder. It uses stock belt and clutches, and gen.
The clone is cheaper if you buy new, otherwise the twin is more engine of course. |

Putting 23 HP Vanguard in my G9 this weekend. High perf cam & Rev kit. Any suggestions? Should go smooth, got it from CPP. Fingers crossed.
