How are you running your throttle cable with governor delete on GX bigblock

I made a plate with levers under it to run the stock carb rod for throttle, and hook the G9 pedal cable to that lever. Made another lever and a larger rod to hook up choke in similar way, but opposite sides of a lever since the choke knob is a pull and carb works other way a push. Look at the photos here a minute and it should make sense. Though I started it up today 30F without the choke, it runs nasty for a minute though and wants to die with no choke....till it gets warm. I don't use choke in summer, but do use the stock gen that keeps it running better.
