Default 99 ezgo txt gx390 swap

I was given this cart with a blown 295. So after looking around I picked up a Honda GX 390 off craigslist.

It runs great it was on a pressure washer that was used once and was left out and the pump froze and busted. I also bought a engine cradle from cpp and a taper adapter.

So tear down begins drilled out all the rivets holding the rear body on and removed. The pulled the motor cradle and all. Disconnecting all the stuff in the way.

So here she is ready for a good pressure washing.

I could find a fine thread 3/4 bolt locally on Sunday but I happened to notice the threads on the ball where what I needed I used the rachet strap to hold the pulley and turn the ball with a pipe wrench work like I knew what I was doing. LOL

Made a little progress

I am going to have to modify the cradle notice the 2x4 blocks to get the clearance I need I am going to use square tubing to make a stand once I get it all mocked up. I am also gong to shorten the cpp cradle and bolt it to the factory front mount so I can use the start/gen on my engine.

Here's a pic of my cradle after cutting it down.

Here's a pic of my stand to get the engine up high enough to clear the shift linkage when moved back enough to get my pulleys spaced back to stock location.
