Re: CC clone swap
Ok. Maybe just a stock clone would be better than the stock kf82? How about mounting and hardware/parts needed?

Re: CC clone swap
I made my mount/bracket out of unistrut stacked and welded together then the motor on the spring nuts on top so I have adjustment. Used stock clutches and stock length severe duty belt. Used stock starter generator by modifying the bracket a little bit and bolting it to another plate I made. S/G belt is the next size down from stock length now but available off the shelf at any hardware store. Really happy with how it came out will try to post some pictures tonight. Running stock muffler, open element filter, timing advance key, clutch machined, springs in both the drive and driven clutch, and the severe duty belt it spins the tires in the dirt and slings mud off the 22's just as much as my buddies 4wheeler.

Re: CC clone swap
Krazymatt nailed it. Clones arent V-twins but they cant be beat in the bang for buck department. 440cc is a 50% increase in displacement right off the bat.

Re: CC clone swap
This cart is for my 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter... I'm not making a mud drag cart out of it but, would like a bit better throttle response and a bit more power with a lift and bigger tires.

Re: CC clone swap
Sheesh man I'd stick with the stock-governed KF82, for kids that young. My cart has plenty enough power for me, it'll go 21mph easily. I don't think I'd want to go much faster without some safety equipment.
