Default Video of Equus 8068 working with GX420

Just a little video of me feathering the throttle between idle and 5500rpms. Stock engine.

Very nice, I love those gauges, feel the need for more power yet?

Sweet! So how high can you get it on a level trail? Mine will only hit 5100, though I didn't go that far but half that distance was over 5K. I only have a tinytach. I hit gps of 31 with the stock clone, this one with the cut head and stuff must be a little faster but not clocked it yet. Tach looks really nice, another thing to add to the list...

I do! It is a never ending delima for me and my projects. I am thinking along the lines of one of your Champion rocker arm assemblies for a starter....:D

All I know is that I was GPS'ing around 27-28mph with my stock G2 with rev limited CDI module and 23" tires...so I'm sure to be clocking over 30mph now with the extra rpms granted by the gx420 motor.

Just going to add some info on issues that popped up after installation of the tach.

I had a few issues with signal interferance making the needle on the tach jump around at high rpm...but that was due to vibrations. Once isolated, the problem stopped.

I love those Champion rockers...best $35 you can spend IMO, They really smooth out the top end and you can ditch your guide plates. They hold lash rock solid and the extra valve lift is an added bonus :)

That was my main problem with my chevy LT1 383 that I built for my caprice/impala. Valve train noise and breaking rocker arm studs with high lift cams.

Did you have to use the additional inductive pickup for the tach to function?
