fuel pump pulse line
i have a 420 predator i am installing in a 97 club car. i was wondering it the port on the airfilter housing that used to go to the vent on the stock fuel tank would be sufficint to run a pulse fuel pump? any thoughts?

It has to go to the intake between carb and head, or into the engine either the crankcase or valve cover or lifter galley if you can get to it. In the valve cover there is a partition top and bottom, the top is vented to the airbox so you need to get under that. There is a spot in the side, there are photos here if you choose to go that way. I did one in the intake and it made the carb flood with fuel the intake pulse is very strong at idle...the crank pulse gets stronger with rpm. Had to put a return line on the intake pulse clone so I did the second one into the valve cover. If you look on AGK's site (affordablegokarts.com iirc) they show how to plumb a line into the block side cover. Note the 6.5hp does not have the partition in the valve cover like the larger clones do.
