Newbe needing help with EZGO electric to big block swap
I am a newbe to the site and have seen that there is a wealth of information on here. I have built several EZGO txt electrics but never done a big block conversion. I have a 2000 txt and I am wanting to put one of the clones in the cart. I aqquired a rearend out of a 2000 txt gas cart off Craigslist with the forward and reverse already in it. Can anybody give me other information of what I may need and good sources of places to get parts from? I am pretty good at fabrication and welding so building things is not a problem. Plus I like the challenge. Thank you in advance.

CPP for cradle, clutch adapter. Been running a HF predator 420 for a while, love it, Some claim it's a easy bolt in with CPP cradle but I had a few clearance issues, turns out my 4 inch lift wasn't tall enough. My opinion is you need at least a 6" lift.

Thank you for your reply. What kind of performance are you getting out of it? I have a 6" lift with 23" tires. Do I need to find some stock motor mounts or does the cpp cradle replace the stock ones?

CPP is a good place, you will need both clutches if you don't have them. I had robertson torque tubes make me a header and pipe to a car muffler I used, if you don't have a local place. Its in my build thread here in clones. I used a car airbox with hose to it, then piped it to the front of the cart for clean air. Cables you will have to figure out. It has about twice the power of stock G9 yamaha, it will spin the 22s in dirt no problem. I did pull the front tires up a few inches so far with stock clutch. Goes a hair faster as I runs out of rpm about the same rpm as stock did (because I have no governor on either of them). Another one I did stock clone it goes 31 mph gps on 22s on dirt road. Mine I cut/ported the head and advanced the timing, maybe more mods yet.
