No. The 18 amp starter box does not have a breaker, it has a 20 amp fuse holder inside the box. But the box is not that important. For my proposes I wired the fuse in at the motor, replaced the key with a DPDT mom-off-on switch, and ditched the box. The important parts are the flywheel, coil, and rectifier.

Hey guys,

Ender has been an AMAZING help with this! The original order that I placed from Lifan was made around the same time as their shipment of mis-labeled engines was sent out, so Im assuming that somebody made a mistake or their was a communication issue on their end.

Regardless, its 90% resolved now and Ive got the right parts on order. I will update you and post them on my site when I have them in stock.

I've never seen the clone parts, only honda.

Funny I have a mower with a onan in it and it started one day and quit. Turns out the fuse blew a 15A. Only had a 10A handy and it ran fine. Later I started it one day and watched the amp gauge peg and it blew that fuse. Now it has a 20A in it, but I guess its a good idea to keep the throttle low when I start it.

Seems like you could use the VR/regualtor off of another small engine such as a vanguard/kohler/etc. or it should be a copy of a honda gx....except I know those parts are not cheap.

Likely you could run LED for some time with a good battery. I'd rather have an alt its got more power but the gen was free in the cart so I used it lol....and I like the pedal start.

I'm going to add led to mine and have the 55w on there too for when I need, unless I get that bumper I want then some baja lights for that.

There is a thread on here some are using them, the better ones are pretty nice. I'll get smaller ones we are supposed to have DRLs to run roads here. I have some wide angle driving lights they work great light up all the way around the front, can turn those on if I need to.

I mean the round lights they use on those bumpers, like on offroad trucks/etc. I think they are 55w as well, some on here have them. Baja style bumper and the lights in it, always wanted that on the cart, but they might not work as well as what I have. When I turn its all lit up, can see everything with the wide angle lights.
