Need help relocating fuel supply!
I just sprung for a Honda GX390 for my 87 Par Car. I just need more ummph to make the long slow grade to my deer stand. (Disabled) I am lacking two inches in the engine compartment in height because of the gas tank. Want to hook up a remote gas taqnk in rear and ditch the stock one. will it have to be higher than the carb, or is there a fuel pump that will work with this motor? I really don't want to mess with a lift, I just need a bit more torque. Any ideas or solutions will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need help relocating fuel supply!
I think this fuel pump will do the job http://www.cartpartsplus.com/high-vo...mp?search=fuel. You don't need to have the fuel tank above the engine with a pump but I think it would be better if you could mount your tank inside the engine bay if possible.By the way these fuel pumps work off of crankcase pulse which can be achieved by installing a hose barb in the valve cover (like on a vanguard).

Re: Need help relocating fuel supply!
Thanks for the help. I think by getting rid of the stock tank I'm gonna have plenty of room.
