Help finding low pressure electric fuel pump for honda gx390
Any suggestions on a good electric fuel pump for this Honda GX390, and will I need to make any changes to the stock carb to prevent flooding? Thanks for any help.

I don't know of any changes you can do to the stock carb, it can't take any pressure. So you need a pump that does 2lb pressure or such, it has been posted here what one they use. Or you can plumb a return line with a T at the carb. Most are using a pulse pump, mine works fine off the rocker cover but I did one off the intake and it will flood the carb at idle. Had to put a return line on that one.

Re: Help finding low pressure electric fuel pump for honda gx390
Thanks for the input. I'm an old wore out Harley rider so these little motors are giving me some surprises. I decided to go with the pulse pump off the valve cover and picked up the tee just in case the flooding problem arises. I'm new to the cart scene. I just got to old and broken up and had to get my behind off that old shovelhead. Hearing a motor pop keeps me livin' so I appreciate the help.

Re: Help finding low pressure electric fuel pump for honda gx390
Golf carts do tend to have nice seats, give you break, until you decide you need to take a real ride lol. Of the block it should not flood, you can make the pulse line longer to weaken the pulse or use rubber hose that is softer. I used the blue clear stuff I can see through, maybe 2' long line. I am also using a stock G9 pump that is larger, the gokart ones are smaller I think might have less pressure. They also pump plenty of fuel for a clone don't worry about that.
