Default And so it begins

So Ive decided my CCs fate. It will get a 440 for power and I landed an 06 bombardier DS650 complete running quad to rape the front suspension off it.
I could put the 650in it but its not user friendly for my wife daughter and mother in law. Pics of this 650 to be destroyed
the rest of the quad is for sale to

I put a LtZ 400 front and ear suspension in a ez-go it rides extremely smooth. the hardest part I had with the whole conversion was the steering ended up going with a dune buggy 11" rack and pinion.

I think you should keep the goofy front fenders from the quad. I've always hated the look of them, but they might be kind of cool on a golf cart!

I think I seen that. I was thinking of using the rack but using it to turn the stock quad steering shaft. But IDK till i get there. that might add slop at that point I might as well just get steering u joints and do it that way

The steering was the hardest part during my build

I had to order extras of them since I was blowing them left and right... They dont like high compression much either.

OH JOY my eng is boxed up and ready to get kicked out the Vegas Cart Door I know I havent put crap in here yet but I sold that DS650 for 1k and another front suspension of another to replace this one. soo as I get this deal wraped up Ill start making a jig of the frame of the ds. What do you fellas think If I squees the CC's frame rails in and place tabs on them for the DS suspension? to much effort to get a lil bling? or just make a bulkhead and bolt on the DS front frame section? AND umm Did I mention my 440 is bout to ship?

What is the suspension travel on the front of that quad? Just gonna clip the front?
