Re: Clone engine swap
http://vegascarts.com/webstore/
Most people use the stock starter gens as well. Vegas carts currently hasn't released the starter gen bracket for the club car so you would have to fabricate that yourself. Check out their other products for an easy bolt in application. I have their motor mount and it was a huge time saver not having to do any of the fab work and only costing $99. Also the 440 cc engines are supposed to be in stock soon. Beats a lifan, around the same price with aftermarket goodies. |

Re: Clone engine swap
Yes the side bar has performance parts for the gx390/420 clones. All of those will fit. There are a few other sites just google 420 clone performance.

Re: Clone engine swap
His engines are stouter than the other clones. The only problem is our carts turn clockwise and everything else turns ccw. You will go faster backwards than forwards and your stock starter wont work. There is a thread on here about getting a cam made to turn the other direction but it is still in the very early stages.

Re: Clone engine swap
If your CC is newer than '93 I think, they run backwards from a normal engine.
