1990 CC Build *predator Engine*
New CC clone build, I got a 1990 CC on trade the cart came without an engine *Perfect*. The cart is solid just needs a little cleaning and should be a great project. I picked up a HF 420 Predator engine a few weeks ago and have been debating on building my own engine mount. I ended up ordering the CC mount from VegasCarts yesterday and some HD valve springs. This week i plan on removing the governor and i am still a little unsure of the best setup do i leave the rod in place or should i remove it and why?
Thanks I posted a few pics of my build!!! |

I removed the factory arm and used this top plate
https://www.pfmparts.com/4-Stroke/cl...onda-clone-PFM These guys are fairly local to me and ended up being a great help in my build. |

All you need to do is pry off the plastic governor gear and youre set. Leave the rod in there as you can use it for your throttle linkage.
While youre in there, remove the oil sensor and tap/plug the hole. -Geoff |

Re: 1990 CC Build *predator Engine*
OK so i removed the governor gear with no issues but while i was removing the low oil sensor i pulled the balancer out of the way and didn't mark it the crank has not moved so i think i know how it lines up. Can someone tell me how it should be installed so i can make sure it is lined up correctly? Thanks

Dot to Dot just like the cam.... The dots are smaller though and on a different crank gear so youll have to look harder
