Default Clone fuel delivery issue

Hey guys. I finally drove my G1 clone swap today and I believe I'm having fuel delivery issues. Pulse is going into intake. Yesterday I was having a hard time getting it started. It was totally flooding out. Backfiring out of the carb and sputtering. Gas was coming out of the tailpipe. So I decided to run the return line between the pump and carb to the gas tank. It seemed to help the problem. It starts runs and drives decent but I think it's still putting to much fuel in the carb.(is this possible after I ran the return line?) It's still hesitating a little bit and I'm getting some popping out of the carb during start up and when I rev it up. When its running I am getting a steady stream of gas being returned to the tank. I'm using the factory G1 fuel pump. My clone motor is stock. Whats going on here.

I had the same problem as yours too much fuel. Fuel coming out of the tail pipe. The return line fixed mine completely. I think it may be another issue probably needs rejeted.

Rejetted? Even if the clone is brand new? I'm using the stock air box and all I did to the exhaust was ran a tailpipe out of the factory muffler.

Yes they aren't jetted to run in a golf cart they usually run at one rpm for a long period of time. If you want it to run better you should rejetted it or buy a carb from vegas carts mine ran much better after I swapped carbs they are on sale for $25.00 it takes the guess work out of it. You also may wanna check the plug.

Do a search for a recent thread I posted regarding this matter.

You need to install a return line and tune the carb.....all will be cherry :)
