![]() Ive had the engine running and it runs pretty good from what I can see, BUT...I only ran it with a header on it and at 1 point I had gas popping out the carb and gas running out the drain hole where the carb and spacer come together ( I can post pics if you dont know what I'm talking about). I tried playing with the air/fuel mixture screw but I didn't want it to run long with these conditions. Is there a specific procedure on adjusting the carb? I feel like I'm getting way too much fuel! oh and which way do you turn the screw to lean it out? As always thanks again for any help! Rich

![]() I did, and haven't had any issues since. It wasn't even stuck when I opened it up but when I put it back together it stopped having that problem. So I am guessing it was stuck but that's what will happen with a stuck float.

![]() KillerCC, Do you have a return in the fuel feed to the carb? This is a common problem when overrunning the carb if there is no fuel return. -Geoff

![]() No I don't Geoff. Do I just put a "t" in the fuel line and run the extra line back to the tank? And since the tank isn't set up for a return, gotta clue on how I do that?

![]() Wow, I missed that one. I just assumed you had already put the return T in, sorry. That'll definitely solve your problem!!!!!

![]() Killer, look at my thread about the conversion swap. Easy Peasy to do, and don't worry about putting the hole in the top of your tank. I used scrap copper tubing with some rubber grommets.
