I used a radiator hose that fit over the intake tube, cut it and voila.... It actually fits tight enough that I don't even need clamps, although I did add some eventually. These pics were right after I mocked it up. You can use multiple bends to get it pointed the direction you want, use exhaust adapters to fit the pieces together. I asked the boys at Autoz*** if I could rummage through the hoses, it was not a problem. Took me approx 10 min to find the right one. $10.99 plus a couple exhaust adapters, maybe $20 total.

I know it's a G1, but they are similar. Your frame support is more straight up, possibly a little closer to the front, but you should have enough room. You might even be able to fit the filter/intake under over the axle toward the rear?

yeah Slonomo, believe it or not you've actually got more room in that g1 than i do. been looking into radiator hoses but it looks like i need a strait 90 degree bend off the carb to clear anything and i am not finding anything at the local autozone. the bends are just to long. did some surfing last night and i was maybe thinking of something like this

I am about to just say scrap the g2 and throw the engine in the g1 if i get that much space! Question, does the clutch have to be dead center with the secondary? i remember a post with someone talking to don and saying that is acutally needs to be offset rather than centered and pulled tight. if this is true would this give me the space iam needing?

Might call Geoff at Vegas Carts. He has a complete G2/G9/G14 kit. Wonder what he uses.

yeah i believe the only thing the kit doesn't have is the air filter but iam going to try a different part store and see what i can find. if not ill just slap on a mikuni and i know that will work space wise.

We use a 90* Elbow for those Kits. Its a mandrel bent piece of Stainless welded to a flange. Works great for the G2 & EZGO TXT.

Where does one get that piece? Do you sell it?

Gave him a call and i guess they do have that part now. There are two options, flange with a mandrel bend or one with strait 90 degree bend. I know the strait 90 degree sucks for airflow but I really have no choice with the space given. He said it comes with an air filter but i opted out because i want to build piping towards the front or snorkel out for cleaner air. Cost was $20... So we'll see how it works when it gets here and i ll keep you guys up to date on how well it works.
