ouch...
Not exactly sure what happened yet, but catastrophic damage has occurred.
At CAW, I thought I had just blown an engine case gasket. After I got home and got to looking at it I noticed a small crack in the top of the block. I snuggled down the 2 bolts that came loose on the engine case, fired up the cart and putted around the yard for maybe a minute and the motor started making a terrible racket. Lifted the seat to find that the small crack had gotten much larger. I thumped the gas just a little and then the cylinder seperated from the block as you can see in the picture. DAMNITMAN..... So, gotta find a motor for this thing now. Can't stand seeing it sit after all the work I put into it to get it lifted and new tires and wheels. http:// |

Re: ouch...
yeah, was is right ..... unless you are a pot metal magic maker.
Looks like it beat itself to death. Keep your eye on CL, I got lucky when I built my Ezgo I found a like new Subaru 720 with a bad ignition for $300. And eBay Comet clutch for $60 The deals are out there if you search long enough |
