1991 club car clone motor swap
I interested in the engine swap and have some questions I see you used the clone 420 but what engine code for the tappered shaft and does the orignal clutch bolt right to it?

Engine code? Not sure what your talking about there. You can use any "clone" motor, Harbor Freight, Home Depot, but best to use Vegas Carts 460, better deal and better performance. You can use the stock clutch but need a tapered adapter from Cart Parts Plus also known as CPP. I think Vegas Carts sells them too.

Are you asking if a tapered shaft engine can be ordered new? They put clone engines on generators and water pumps so maybe you can. Might not be the same taper specs though.
