Default I'm BACK got some questions for ya guys

Hey guys glad to be back on the forum I sold my old cart and have regretted it ever since but I guess it just means I get to do something different now

Well I'm picking up a new cart next Saturday and it is in need of some work now. The guy I bought it from has done a pretty good job getting it where it's at to this point.

02-03 somewhere in there ez txt ( haven't run the serial )

He did away with the stock engine which was blown up and replaced it with a 420 predator

He installed a carts parts plus big block cradle along with a comet 94c clutch

I need to know what belt I need to buy for it and also starter generator mounting before I buy a Vegas carts cradle along with there s/g mount and belt pulley all of that

Anyone that knows plz chime in because I could use all the help I can get thanks guys

I believe the starter/gen belt comes with the mount from VC. Actually it comes with two belts, one shorter than the other. At least mine did.
A31/4L330 is the size I am using with Geoff's pulley and mount.

It just seems like the guy just pieced the thing together once I get it home I'm going to rip that thing down and going to see what is really there

Oh, now I see, after I read the entire post. Now that mine is done I am afraid I will get bored with it. That seams to happen with me, dump a ton of cash into something then sell it at a loss so I can start something new. Wife would be upset about this one though.

I think you are going to have to measure for the belts. When I did mine I set the engine as far to the rear as it would go, then took a center to center measurement on the clutches. There's a belt calculator here on the site somewhere, you have to know the diameter of your clutches and the width of the belt needed as well.

I know the width is 1 3/16 but the guy has the engine mounted pretty screwed up so I won't know where it truly sets until I rip it apart you wouldn't happen to know what section that belt calculator is at

He has the stock belt on it right now and it's so screwed up but I guess I will see what I got to work with when I get it home
