Pics of your clone throttle linkage plz
Trying to figure out how to run my setup and trying to get some ideas
Thought maybe use a stock cable and modify it or getting a custom push/pull cable made kinda like a boat throttle |

Re: Pics of your clone throttle linkage plz
My throttle cable runs from the gas pedal to the left front top of the Predator engine. Pushing the pedal pushes the cable linked to the carb arm that came with the engine. The choke cable is connected to the carb using the original arm that came with the engine. I removed the detent from the plastic with a dremel so there isn't any bind on the cable. Only the friction of the cable in its housing keeps the choke in position.

Re: Pics of your clone throttle linkage plz
I like that I just bought a oem throttle cable today should be here in the next week I figure if anything I can make something like that work
I'm using a Pfm top plate and it's got a arm built onto it I was going to do away with the oem arm on the motor ie governer assembly My pedal assembly has a inch and a half of travel and my carb has 3/8 in of travel so looks like I will have to build a arm that corrects for that but it's linking it all up and looking somewhat stock is what I'm after |

I'm having trouble with the choke. I have no choke arm there or a bracket to install a cable. but the throttling was pretty easy on my vc460

Re: Pics of your clone throttle linkage plz
For me the choke is the difficult one also. I was trying to set up some kind of odd setup with the stock cable, but I'm just going to get a long cable and make a braket.

Re: Pics of your clone throttle linkage plz
The choke is the hard part. I'd love some ideas too. I have an extra long choke cable and I was planning on making a big loop around to the lever with a bracket bolted to the head somewhere.
